WANT "SUM"?

It’s been a while since my first post.  I guess you could say I was REAL busy…

We have been trying lots of new ways to spark up the marriage.  One fun way is the use of our cell phone.

To me being romanced is more about being hunted and pursued, and earned…  NOT flowers, jewelry, or expensive dinners.

There is something to be said about being taken or ravaged.  I tried to look for ways of turning ice queen into raving huntress.  I really honed in on awakening my deep passion for fantasy, with the help of course, of my husband.   We started to wake ME up!  I’m talking about a little Sexting.  I find myself in the bathroom at work taking naked pics of me in the mirror and sending them to my DH with a little fun saying, like, “Want sum?”  Sexting can be a powerful tool for your relationship.  It takes you on a whole new level for secretly feeding your fantasies.  When I receive these types of texts, I certainly respond in a way that sometimes makes me want to, well you know…  It makes me feel sexy, desirable, wanted, hunted… To sum it up more like unapologetically romantic.

Texting…It’s Not Just For Teenagers

Deanna Verbouwens
I love and hate texting for one reason and one reason only: Communication. Texting is fun, it’s quick, and it’s easy. I can fire off a text to make someone laugh faster than Mario Andretti at the Indy. In my youth, I’d go to any length to make someone laugh, I actually spent a full year in therapy trying to undo why I’d randomly moon my friends or drive through a toll-booth topless. With texting SWOOP it’s easy and it doesn’t cost me my dignity. On the other hand, what a frickin' distraction; I decided to make a quick stop in Target to pick up last minute baking items for the three year olds now four year olds birthday party. All I needed was brownie mix, quick and easy run in & run out, 10 minutes top, throw kids in the cart, race to the aisle as if I am on “Supermarket Sweep” and call it a day. The first mistake was not throwing the kids in the cart fell to their big blue puppy dog eyes and plea’s of “I’ll be good, I’ll hold your hand, I promise”. Now the four year old is running rampage in the baking aisle, sweat is pouring down my neck as I dodge brownie mix, my hand is numb because I’m white knuckling my phone (gosh forbid I miss a text), then as I grab the little one by the collar my hand slips and I hit the floor. As I am going down the box of brownies hits my head and my seven year old explodes laughter. While I try to recover I can see the back of the four year old I as he hightails it down the aisle towards the mini marshmallows and guess what? The phone is still in my hand. Now that’s talent.

I blame my bruised ass-bone on texting; I can’t sit for a week but guess what… I can text! Texting has definitely brought my multi-tasking skills to a whole new level – now I have even more balls in the air, balls that I am certainly not catching. Unfortunately, it’s not me who suffers, it’s my poor kids. In my defense, I figure I’m already screwing them up, might as well throw a little more on their plate, I mean they have a mother who works full time, has enough guilt to fill Yankee Stadium, can barely get out the door showered, who screams more than she likes, and now they have to have to deal with a texting addiction? They’ll be in therapy anyway, may as well lay it on as thick as I can, if I had to go to therapy they have to too, except, I’ll probably feel guilty and pay the damn bill. I also found out that besides that fact that you can raise your kids properly and text you also cannot multi-task. Believe me I’ve tried eating, drinking, and showering while texting. It does not work. I also try not to text while driving but sometimes I do. Another horrible example for my kids, it’s bad enough they think it’s okay to pick their teeth in public, and can fart on command, but this is well, really poor parenting.

LUNCH TIME POLL

Dawn Boyle

A New Jersey School has banned photographs of students from their school being posted on ANY social media network. This is to avoid a number of issues we now face in this sexting, bullying, harassment world we are now living in.

Do you feel this is a smart move or does it take away from our freedom?

I WANNA GO TO REHAB....

Dawn Boyle

WEINER SEEKS TREATMENT, TAKES LEAVE OF OFFICE......

What in the world?? Why is it that celebrities and politicians believe that if they turn there major screw up into "needing therapy" or "going to rehab" it makes it all go away?

Better question is why do we let them pull the wool over our eyes? I am not sure how I feel about this guy and his sexting issue. I am not a fan of him obviously cheating on his wife. I am not a fan of how much money it will cost the American people if we have to go through ethic hearings if he refuses to step down from office, but where is that line in the sand? If he wasn't doing it during "working hours" (and really what are working hours for these politicians) it is really any of our business?

Years ago the only way this would be a headline is if someone talked, or if there was someone who was taking a picture of the actual screw up. This dude shot himself in the foot, he put his own ass on the Internet. I am pretty sure he has enough going on at home to with which he is dealing. A pregnant wife. Can't we let that be who deals with this issue? Did I miss something? Was he taking pictures with a government phone? Did he text those photographs using government minutes? Does anyone think MAYBE - just MAYBE the women involved in exposing Mr. Weiner have something up their sleeves? Did he break any rules of the "house" or just those at the Weiner House? I do not think what he did was right, but illegal...nah! He just got caught with his pants down....like many politicians before him! Good luck in rehab Anthony - we will all be here when you get out either to take you back with open arms into the government again or will be lining up to buy your book as soon as the ink drys! Enjoy the mini rehab vacation. I am sure Palm Springs (or wherever you end up) will be wonderful! I am actually sitting here thinking of a way to scam a rehab stint myself...I wonder if there is a rehab for people who are the complete opposite of a sex addict?? Going to google that right now!
