WANNA LAUGH?!?!
TONY WALKER
The other day I came home early than expected from one of my shows. I was really beat from the performance so I went straight to bed where my wife already was. As I was about to close my eyes I noticed that there were 6 feet sticking out of the blankets. I said to my wife, "Hey what's going on here? I see 6 feet!"
"Nonsense!" She said. "You're so tired your eyes are playing tricks on you. You'll focus better if you get out of bed & count again."
Wouldn't you know it.... she was right. I got out of bed & sure enough there were only 4 feet sticking out of the blanket.

MAY IS MELANOMA/SKIN CANCER DETECTION AND PREVENTION MONTH - THESE ARE ALL THE REASONS WHY I KNOW!
Dawn Boyle
I had originally set this post in drafts last week. My friend Tara had a video on her facebook wall, it was a number of people talking to their 16 year old self after the risks of skin cancer. It moved me.
My oldest daughter was born with a small chocolate chip sized birthmark on the inside of her upper arm. I never thought about it. She shows everyone, she even seems proud of it. On Monday, that little chocolate chip sent my world in a tailspin. I took her to her pediatrician to have something looked at. I mentioned that I had made an appointment for Sarah to see a dermatologist in early June. Let me flashback for a second, about a month ago I was in the ER with the same kid and a foot injury. We were at the hospital all night, even made friends with two little old ladies and their niece. One of the little old ladies was a retired nurse. She noticed Sarah's Chocolate chip and told me to have that checked out immediately. I blew it off. It all flooded back when the pediatrician wanted me to immediately go to Lake Success, New York to have a specialist take a look at that chocolate chip and have it biopsied. My heart sank. Why didn't I listen to that little old lady over a month ago? The video from Tara played over and over in my head. What a horrible mother I am. Why am I such a slacker? What the hell is wrong with me that I never had a dermatologist look at this before, she is going on 10 years old!!
With a knot in my throat I took my little girl in to the next doctor. He went over her with a fine tooth comb. He did measurements and took pictures of every mole on this kids body. He documented as Sarah and I told him of different times she was over exposed to the sun, once when she was on the beach in early spring, once down by the boat she got heat stroke, and then recently on our family trip. I patiently waited for the opportunity to ask him about the necessity for a biopsy. He asked her about sunblock, Sarah admitted that she wasn't a fan of her mother covering her with 50+ every hour on the hour during the summer. It all came down to this one moment. No, he didn't say it needed a biopsy. THANK GOD! The blood rushed back through the rest of my body. The guilt was over - I wasn't that bad of a mother.

HART'S DESIRE ON FIRE
They had shared so much. An affair of emotions that dripped in fantasy. Distance, time and circumstance robbed them of interaction. Theirs was a virtual world of dreams and indiscretions. Yet, she often wondered... if ever --- would all they imagined ever measure up? Could reality move the world off it's axis - like the words and interchanges on a screen - left her breathless and wet with desire? She closed her lash rimmed eyes and shook off the thoughts - refocusing on their last interaction as she lay in her bed. A long sexy breath escapes her as she closes her eyes to lose herself in the memory...His eyes locked on her, as she bathed in a waterfall in the tropical paradise. The cool water arousing her senses and causing her chest to swell and nipples be erect. The sensory simulation enticing, as her head tilted back to rinse her hair. So lost in the simple pleasure that she hadn't noticed his arrival. Hadn't noticed him gazing at her every move. If she had, she may have become overcome with vexation rather then lost in the self indulgence of her nakedness. The rushing sound of the waterfall made it easy for him to slide into the lagoon and approach her undetected. Longing to surprise her, he swam up behind her - only to have the wonderment be on him - when she turned in the water and launched herself at him. Both of them falling into the shallow caress of the waters.
Laughing. Splashing. Groping. Fondling. In ways that rivaled any teenage fantasy or love-fest. Entangled they worked their way to shore. The mist of the falling waters in the breeze still spraying their skin as the sun warmed them and they fell into the soft fine sand. Massaging her bronzed flesh with pressure and untamed passion. The touch of his hands, pure rapture to her.
Without a word, there was complete direction. He read every cue that her body sensuously displayed. And, when body language lacked enough intensity she'd guide his hands. The sun adding heat to a moment sparked enough to combust fire. Hands lost on each other - exciting every fiber of their beings. Awakening every nerve to send shivers racing the length of her spine. Unyielding palms and fingers worked the sun drenched bodies that glowed with a hint of inviting erotic sweat. Shoulders. Neck. Down the small of her back. Each movement pulsing with strength and pressure that told of the sensual acts to come. As he nibbled on the bare flesh of her neck she felt fire in her core, yet shivered with anticipation. His arms wrapped her from behind and his hands slid smoothly over her hips and caressed the soft skin just above her pelvis. Rubbing back and forth and climbing higher and higher. She leaned back. Melting into him. Losing herself in every lascivious movement gliding over fleshy mounds that swelled with tension and want. She turned her head over her shoulder to kiss him. Lips fell open as impassioned tongues danced together. Kissing him deeper, taking him in, sliding back and forth over his mouth and tongue, insinuating the motions of the salacious sex she desired...

Day ThreeAt Green Whisker Works... With GaryO
On day three I'm doing a lot of detailing and refining of the sculpture, so there isn't as much radical progress as Day One and it's really just tightening up of what I did on Day Two . So I thought I would share today in a time lapse video form, so sit back and enjoy the funky beats while I compress 6 hours into 3 minutes.
MILLENNIAL WOMEN
Will they go where no woman has gone before?
Marion Pellicano Ambrose
The term “Millennial Women” refers to women born between 1977 and 1995. They are also known as the “Why Generation” because they question everything. This group of women are different from any other in that they seek a harmonious balance between work and home, and firmly believe they will achieve it. They seek jobs that will be personally satisfying, but expect competitive salaries that equal those of men. They seem to be getting somewhere as far as that is concerned. Surveys show that Millennial Women’s median salary is 91% of a man’s salary in the same profession as compared to women of other ages whose median salary is only 80%. These women who are described as the best and brightest, now make up 1/3 of the working population and demand more from employers such as flexible hours, meaningful work that allows them to make an impact, and respectful treatment by coworkers and bosses. Not so much to ask, but until now, unattainable by most women.
So what is it about Millennial Women that make them so independent and confident? One theory is that they are the first generation to have fathers so actively involved in their upbringing. They, in turn, expect their partners to be just as involved or more involved as their own fathers. They do not see “mom” as the caretaker, but as a partner with “dad” in the raising of children. They don’t feel the need to preach or demonstrate for their equal rights as the bra-burning feminists of the 70’s did; they simply expect it. Because of their sheer number (they have us Baby Boomers beat already) and their quiet but strong determination, they succeed in getting what they want. They have, for the most part, achieved that balance between satisfying work and a happy, fulfilling home life.
As a Baby Boomer and the mother of a Millennial Woman, I would like to claim a little credit for my husband and myself. We may have had more “traditional” gender roles, but we did act as partners in raising our daughter. (Well, he only changed one diaper, but otherwise it was pretty equal!) But most of the credit goes to her. She is independent and working towards a very rewarding career that will definitely have an impact on others! She’s a kind, caring individual who is concerned about human rights and doesn’t hesitate to become involved in a cause. She is truly the “brightest and the best” of her generation and I’m exceedingly proud of her!

Now that Donald Trump has pulled himself out of the race for president after NBC announced it's fall line up (Donald makes a reported $6,000,000 for the season) who will be the Republican nominee?
Who do you think will step up to the plate?
Do you feel it's late in the game to actually make something happen?
Do you think that since Obama happens to be in office when Bin Laden is taken out that he is a shoe in for a second term?

SHE SAID....
Dawn Boyle
Fifteen years ago my answer to how I felt about my significant other going to a strip club would have been "no way!" I will chalk that up to my own insane insecurity and stupidity of youth.
The truth is your spouse is NOT going to find love in a strip club, and an even slighter chance of getting laid in one. The ladies there are just doing their job. There is NO SEX IN THE CHAMPAGNE ROOM!
Guys going out with their buddy before he gets married is usually more about the guys having fun, the groom is just there for the ride. It is the obligatory night out of debotury, which is as old as time.
Now a days the ladies get their night too! I have to say I have been to some out of control bachelorette parties. I have seen a bride-to-be make out with someone and ride a male stripper like he was a horse.
If you are worried about your future husband going to a strip club mere days before he will marry you, there are bigger problems there then the bachelor party. The only issue I would have about Greg going to a strip club now would be him throwing money away, the same way I feel about the kids always wanting to play those stupid games at carnivals...it's a waste, you are NEVER going to win that giant banana. You are better off keeping your cash in your pocket and playing with the toys you already have at home, if you know what I mean!
