TREKKIE OR STAR WARRIOR? ASK WILLIAM SHATNER

In a recent interview with Andrea Reiher (Pop 2 it, Culture, Celebrity, With a twist) William Shatner voiced his opinion that Star Trek was better than Star Wars.  He cited his major reason: Star Trek dealt with relationships, humanity and philosophical questions, and Star Wars was all special effects. He also stated that Star Trek now outdid Star Wars in special effects leaving the latter with nothing to recommend it over Star Trek.  Discussing female stars, Shatner said that even though Princess Leia was beautiful and Carrie Fischer was a good actress, she just couldn’t compare to the heroines of Star Trek.
