PARANORMAL PUB;THE OLD WOMAN'S HOUSE (another true story)

Marion Pellicano Ambrose

It‘s been 25 years since my best friends promised to follow me down to Florida to live. Finally, they decided to buy a house so they could be snowbirds!  I went with the real estate agent and looked at house after house for them, but none seemed right. My friends looked at the listings on line and set up more appointments and still, we couldn’t find a thing. I suggested the real estate agent widen his search to a certain area I happened to like, as my sister bought a house there and loved it. A particular house came up that was in their price range and met their qualifications, so I was going to see it. In the meantime, my friend’s father died and so she and her husband made plans to fly down. While they were here, we all decided to go and look at the house. As we pulled up, I had such a feeling of “this is it”! I didn’t say anything, but I had a strong feeling that they would be buying this house.
We went inside and my friend stopped abruptly as she walked in the door. She looked to her right with a surprised look on her face. “What is it?” I asked. “I’ll tell you later”, she said and moved cautiously into the living room. The house was absolutely perfect. It had everything they wanted and more. After checking out all the rooms and the property, my friend took me back to the front door. This is what she told me.
“When I walked in, I saw an old woman standing there.(pointing to her right by the closet door). This was her house. She’s dead now. She said I was welcome here and she wanted us to be here.”
“Where was she?” I asked. “Right here,” my friend told me as she opened the closet.  Inside was an oxygen machine and medical tubing. The realtor walked over and said, “Oh, I’m sorry. We’ll get that out of here. This is an estate sale, you know, and the lady that owned the house died recently. That was her oxygen machine.”

My friends are the now the new owners of this house and feel both welcome and blessed in their new home.

YOU'RE MY INSPIRATION....

JENN COPP

One night I was at a mortgage companies Christmas party. The room was full of amazing people and a lot of Realtors. At the time I was a recruiter and I scanned the room. In the corner of the room their was a girl. She had a smile on her face and she was full of energy. With all I have gone through in the past two years and the sense of spirit I had lost from my cancer diagnosis, I was drawn to her. She reminded me of myself. It  was an instant bond talking to her, I had a business .. She had a business .. I was in real estate, so was she. With the power of Facebook I have followed her since Christmas. We comment on each other's posts, I love reading hers. I can tell we are in the same worlds  - ALWAYS BUSY! What I have learned about her is that she is one amazing girl. It started off with her devotion to a little boy who is sick. He was collecting Band aids. All I saw was a devotion and drive for her  to collect as many band aids as possible. She had Band aids being sent from every possible location. It was truly amazing. I can go on about her posts and the dedication she has to various charities, but I think you get the picture.

Tonight I posted about me getting ready for all my doctor appointments this week, I try to act like I am only going to the dentist. It is scary to think after one doctor appointment you can find out you have cancer, and your life is changed !!! Well didn't surprise me in the least, knowing her character that within a second  I got an inbox asking, are you okay? How much those three words mean to me I can't express. In a world that is so closed and everyone is worried about putting themselves out there, here is a girl that didn't even have to think about it. So I say to you, you are one amazing person, your kindness, generosity, and love of Life touches so many people! I have a GREAT family, I have GREAT friends and I have GREAT inspirations on Facebook!

WHATEVER IT TAKES !!!

Jennifer Copp

I was hit with a midlife crisis, not by choice. It was actually handed to me on a silver platter. I then had to decide what I wanted to do with it. My decision was that I wanted to move home. I was away more than I care to admit now.

Instead of looking back and writing a long drawn out story, I choose only to look ahead. I have 3 amazing kids that I can happily say are all ME, they walk like me, talk like me and laugh like me. They give me the courage to get out of bed and forge ahead. For that, I will always do what I have to do so that they can have a role model that teaches them they can do anything they want in life.
