WANNA LAUGH?!?! ...The Late Show - Rated M for Mature

TONY WALKER

It's Thursday! Ladies night!

Superman wants to go out, find some women, & have some fun.

He calls Batman. "Hey Bruce! It's Clark.
What are you up to? Let's go have some fun," He says.

"No good," says Batman,
"Robin & I are working on a big case.
Too busy tonight. Sorry."

Disgusted, Superman tries another friend.
"Aquaman! It's Clark. Wanna have some fun tonight?"

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

I once met a women who was allergic to chocolate.
OH! the horror!

In some cultures, chocolate is used as currency. That would make a trip to the bank much more fun.

The Mother-In-Law Method: Don't eat chocolate. Just criticize the way your child's spouse does it.

I'M WORRIED

Marion Pellicano Ambrose

I’m worried; worried, dismayed and disappointed. I was raised in an America that was the envy of the rest of the world. We were respected by our allies and feared by our enemies. Our people could work hard and achieve a good, stable life for themselves and the promise of a better one for their children. It wasn’t just a myth; I know because I lived it!

As a child, I felt safe in my home, my school and my neighborhood. I could grow up to be whatever I wanted as long as I was willing to work hard and stay focused. I knew that my country would do whatever necessary to keep me free and protect me from danger, both foreign and domestic. Even through the Vietnam War, I was secure in the knowledge that we would overcome!

LUNCH TIME POLL

TONY WALKER

In Wisconsin Senator Scott Walker (I hope I am not related to this man) has eliminated collective bargaining for the state worker's union. Eliminating collective bargaining will basically break the union. No doubt we will see several states attempt the same thing with Walker being successful. The union had already agreed to several concessions. Losing collective bargaining would be a major blow to the middle class across the nation.

What do you think of Senator Walker's ideas?
How do you feel about unions?
If you think Senator Walker is wrong what do you think Wisconsin should do to cut back?

What's Shakin is the Seaford Cinemas!

Tony Walker

If you live on Long Island & you're close to Seaford come on down to the Cinema tonight at 6pm!
There is a special showing of "Rango" where a percentage of the money is going to Wantagh SEPTA... SEPTA means Special Ed PTA.
The Wantagh School District has a fantastic special ed dept. & our kids could use all the help they can get. My daughter who is autistic has made tremendous strides thanks to Wantagh Schools.
Get the family & come enjoy a movie while giving to a good cause!
Thanks to the Lounge for allowing me to publicize this on the site!!

LET THE FUN BEGIN

Dawn Boyle

I come from a large family as does my husband. I am Catholic and his parents are Greek Orthodox and Jewish. Needless to say we are a potpourri of back grounds and beliefs. There is one thing that we do share in both families and that is we all love a good party!

Whether it be a religious gathering or a birthday we party like Rock Stars. The next five months are ALWAYS our busiest. As of right now we are booked at least one night a weekend, we kick off this party season on Saturday night celebrating my cousin (who is more like a sister to me) daughter's Super Sweet Sixteen, mix in some Communions and go til mid July. Which is our daughter's birthday and our yearly summer party fully equipped with 14' Bonsai Slide, burgers, beers and beer pong!  You know your average kiddie house party :)

I am very lucky to have such a close family and that my children get to spend time with all of their relatives. So break out the wallet and put on your dancing shoes...IT'S PARTY SEASON!!!!

"Business" Trip - Part III - Hart's Desire

Ms. Jillian B. Hart

When a waiter paused by the table, he asked, “Would you like a drink?”
“I’ll have one of what you’re having.” She responded.  To heady to think of a better answer.  More wine arrived and she was secretly thankful not to be mixing drinks on a stomach empty, yet filled with butterflies.
Night was falling quickly.  The sunlight waned into an ultramarine sky.  The reflection of the neo-classical brick bridge was fading into the St. Charles River except where modern lighting decorated the view. The glow of windows of the nearby Harvard buildings began dotting the horizon.

SOUL FOOD

Barbara Ward-Finneran

Everything changes when seen with love.
Life itself is more beautiful.

One of the keys to meaningful purpose is to be connected to your life. Being active with your own mind, body and soul - - loving yourself enough to figure out and fill up the voids.

We can see through the eyes of love only when there's love in our eyes. It needs to begin with our reflection in the mirror.

Keep the promises that you make to yourself!

While a man savours a double martini, an attractive woman sits down at the bar next to him & orders an orange juice.

The man turns to her & says, "This is a special day. I'm celebrating."

"I'm celebrating too," she replies, clinking glasses with him.

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

"Can't afford all that fancy exercise equipment? Spend your money on chocolate instead."

"When all else fails chocolate won't."

"Experts say we should spend half an hour a day bettering our bodies. Coincidentally, thats about the amount of time required to eat a bag of chocolate."
