SEX...do you want it?

Tony Walker
Recently Marion posted something nice about things men can do to help their ladies out.
I, being the moron I am, then posted a man's version of that.
Basically my post said just give the man sex & he's happy all the time.
It was a joke but it did spark a serious conversation between a close female friend & myself.
She refused to believe men rely on sex that much.
My stance was not only do men rely on it, but what's wrong with that if they do?
When you love someone, that person excites you right? Don't you want to be naked with that person all the time? Don't you wanna share some intimate moments? Even this pig will admit sex is so much more when there are feelings involved.... it's a wonderful experience, what's wrong with wanting it all the time? Doesn't it give you a better feeling for the rest of the day after doing it? Why does sex always have to be looked at as a dirty thing?
What's better than the one you want more than anybody else wants you back? It's such a fantastic experience.
If that person doesn't want me, it messes up my self esteem in so many ways.
So yes.... sex is very important!!!
Who's with me here?!

SHE SAID... DO YOU COLOR IN THE LINES?

Jillian B. Hart
To be secure in yourself and feel empowered is a very expected part of life in the 21st century.  The sky is the limit.  Dream it.  Pursuit it.  Make it happen.  All you have to do is reach for it, create it and it is there - yours for the taking!

Women succeed all over the map in this "man's" world.  Yet, often I hear that women don't share their desires or admit that they are in touch with their own bodies.  Is it any wonder they lose interest in sex? (Being a multitasking woman, wife, mother, go getter - and the energy it takes to be those things aside - of course!) Being happy in your relationship energizes your life.  Enables you to want and do more.  To be better.  (We all know, the man will be empowered and contented if he shares what he wants and gets some!)  Feeling good and yearned for builds confidence.  These attributes will spill over into the rest of your daily interactions. So why not start at home?  Why not start in the bedroom? Why not talk about what you want?!

Getting bold in the bedroom may just be what is needed to taste the rainbow (Don't you love skittles?!) and move from black and white to technicolor.  Do you like to color?  LOL. Colorful question isn't it?!  When it comes to sex, do you only color between the lines?  If  that's the case... is your lover happy, do you have a lot to learn, or do you have hang ups to shed?  What do you really want from your partner and why aren't you asking for it?!  If you are going to spend most of your life with a partner in a monogamous relationship - don't you have to expand your palette to include new shades and values? You must keep it interesting or risk the colors running.  Trust is a must when coloring out of the lines. If you are in a trusting, loyal and honest relationship you should be able to be confident to communicate to you mate your wants, needs and desires without fear of judgement or complete denial.  Additionally you need to listen to and be open to your lovers carnal aspirations.  It's up to you to create the masterpiece of a great sex life.  The canvas is yours for decoration.  Shouldn't the ambition be to use every crayon in the box?! Perhaps there is a lot to be said for that 7 day sex challenge! It'll certainly get you using those crayons!  The bigger the box the better!

SEVEN DAY SEX CHALLENGE, BRING IT OR BUST IT!?

Jillian B Hart

Me being me, it's no surprise that a friend told me about the One Extraordinary Marriage "7 Day Sex Challenge", and encouraged me to "read", "research" and "share" my thoughts.  Tony and Alisa Dilorenzo, speak about how when it comes to sex, life gets in the way.  HMMMM.... been there, wrote about that numerous times here at the lounge.  They are promoting the "7 Day Sex Challenge" to improve your marriage.  Do note, they have a spiritual side to the challenge and include prayer.  I will say prayer always has a place in marriage and partnership, and never underestimate the power of a praying wife. Trick is to make sure she's praying for your good being and not your demise.  Or vise versa.  But that's a whole other blog. Like me, the Dilorenzos, encourage you to shake things up and think out of the typical bedroom box.  Consider what is stated in Rebooting in the Bedroom - do what you can and must too prevent your sex life from getting boring.  For ideas read, The Hot List.   WOW, I really am not alone in this, LOL! (Hush, Tony Walker - I know you'll be all over this!) In fact, Fox News was all over it.  (Note to self - get the DRL editors to get a press release out to Fox News. my articles are right along the same lines as the Delorenzo's, HA!)

The point of being necessary for continuation of the species aside.  Sex is an important part of life.  Yet, all too often it is NOT a priority in your relationship.  Why not?  WHY THE HELL NOT?  What's so complicated?! It makes for a happy lover.  It really makes for a happy man! It also makes for a good time, (At least if you do it right!), good relationship, good mood, good endorphins, good health, good sleep, good stress relief, good cardio... the list goes on and on.   The "no time", "no energy" thing - is true at times, but it is often truer that it is a cop out.  If something is important to you - you make it a priority.  Why then, if relationship is important do so many long term partners allow the sex side of it to get lost?
