LUNCH TIME POLL - WEINERGATE
Technology has opened up a new can of worms when it comes to cheating.
"You're not stalking me, I am stalking you" - that was the answer given to 26 year old Meagan Broussard by Congressman Weiner when she questioned him about their online sexting relationship.
When does Internet chit chat and flirting turn into a scandalous event? Weiner has confessed to having at least 6 online relationships within the past three years.
Mr. Weiner apologized to his wife and to all of us stating that he would not be resigning.
So here we go again...there will be an Ethics Hearing and this will cost all of us how much??? All for some pervert to contact young women through facebook and twitter.
What do you think? Does sexting while in office warrant someone to be removed from office?
Is sexting cheating??? Is an online relationship without physical contact cheating???

I would love to see people who are hired to do a job actually spend the whole working day DOING THEIR JOB! I bet 90% of workers spend some part of their working day on Facebook, Twitter, Google or some other Internet site or on their iphone. If everyone just did what they were paid for we would have a MUCH more productive workforce! If they choose to do these things on their own time, that's their business, however I totally disapprove of sexting and sending of certain pictures by people in public office who present themselves as moral, model Americans!
ReplyDeletelong gone are the days we actually work all day!
ReplyDeleteSexting is the new nooner - it's so easy to re-connect now and find someone who is in a miserable situation...or just looking for some fun.
I really don't want everyone to be doing what they should be doing at work though - then they wouldn't be on our site :)
If you wouldn't sext in front of your spouse, boss or co-workers, it is a pretty sure sign that you know it is wrong. I am in favor of giving consequences so that it will help expose the real damage it is doing.
