AM I PISSED OFF TODAY!!!
Apparently our tax paying dollars are now paying for police escorts for Charlie Sheen (Washington DC) P Diddy (NYPD) and the New York Rangers (DC too).
My question is if we are all so broke, our counties, states, COUNTRY, are all in the RED. Why is okay for these people (who have way more money then you or me) to get special treatment?
I was in bumper to bumper traffic last Monday on my way to Passover at my in-laws, sitting on the Cross Bronx, where was my escort?
Why are we wasting money and the time of these police officers who could be doing their job of protecting and serving?

What are you thoughts on tax payers monies going to serve the rich and infamous in such ways????

ReplyDeleteI do not applaud these actions at all! I think it is horrendous that the police were used to get "celebrity" out of traffic or somewhere on time! It is a disgrace!!!!

OMG...I am pretty sure if you were in distress and because of a celebrity police escort you were affected - it would bother you right? What if you were getting mugged and the police in charge of the street you were getting mugged on were making sure some celebrity was getting to his private jet on time - you'd be pissed right?
